3D Printed Rocket

A pretty self-explanatory project, my friend and I endeavored to each design a 3D printed model rocket and see whose traveled highest. We used ABS as our print material and designed each component and the overall assembly in Autodesk Inventor. After several iterations to ensure the rocket was light enough and could still house the parachute and engine, we each tested our rockets. While my friend's rocket nearly took the siding off his house, mine successfully launched, but its parachute didn't deploy properly, and we were unable to recover it. Needless to say, it was a major waste of our school's ABS rolls, but someone had to make use of it!
